Naha Eisa dancers

SO we made our trek down to Naha. It's not far at all. When we left here it wasn't raining. When we got there it was pouring! We got a great spot about a block from the main road. grabbed our three umbrellas, we had to double up and we walked down the road. We found a spot and just hung out there under our umbrellas till they came to us.
I knew that clear umbrella would come in handy!! Pictures of some dancers. This is with my point and shoot.

We were soaked by the time we got down there but the kids were cool with it and we stayed. We watched through the rain but it wasn't to long till the sun came out. We had ourselves a japanese friend who was practicing her english and was so helpful.

The crowd the next block up, I think this was like the judges area.

After watching the dancers a while we walked the street. It really reminded us of the streets in Korea. Though I don't remember porsche being INSIDE the stores. Hmmm

We had a great time!!
OH I totally forgot this picture. This is one of the clowns. haha holy cow. SCARY!

Cool. We were there too, but down near the gigantic cat that waves it’s paw. We were drenched by the end of the day after trying to share my one small umbrella between the four of us, but it was well worth it. When we drove back to Foster it looked like it didn’t even rain there.

Ok, your going to get sick of me saying--"I miss it sooo much!!!". I love the Eisa music and still listen to a CD we have to this day...just seems so spiritual. Mal did Eisa Drums in kindergarden. They have classes you can do. You guys are doing such a great job getting out there and exploring! Keep having fun!

I bet we walked right past each other and Marisa too! Wasn't it so much fun?! And nope, it didn't rain up this way, hubby told me it was sunny all day!
