I love my husband

So much that I let our first new layout be the Bucs.
Yes, I know they lost. They are like children to us, we may not be happy with their behavior but that does not mean we love them any less.

I should now say that I do in fact love my husband but I couldn't find a layout I really like yet. So the Bucs background is sorta a fill in.

Our new Years was a fun movie filled night. We had a lot of fun just hanging out.
Earlier that day we went to lunch at this new Thai place. If you know me you know I LOVE Thai food. Across the street there was some sort of festival.

We talked to the People at the Thai restaurant and they told us that that is the site to go to if you want to get pregnant. It is one of many holy places. You go pray there and you will get pregnant. I decided that was a no go for us. We are cool with our four. I am coming back and going to the teak store over there though!

We went to dinner at a friends house and had black eyed peas with a ham hock, corn bread, and chicken. It was YUMMY. Plus we got in the whole black eyed pea thing that wouldn't have happened over here.
V. and I went for a walk and the rest all played the Wii, it was good times.
Today my husband is making gumbo, SHOUT OUT TO MY Louisiana CREW! We miss you guys.
We will eat that for lunch then freeze it.
Tonight he is making adobo. We are having friends over and eating some Filipino food.
He doesn't cook this often in real life but when he is off, he likes to cook.

I hope everyone had a great New Years.
2009 is going to be fun fun fun

I love it when my husband cooks too, which is rare! He actually cooks more of the Filipino dishes though since I'm limited to making lumpia, Filipino spaghetti (the sweet kind with the hot dogs), rice, and pan de sal. Hah. But I make really good Korean BBQ ... it's not Filipino food, but in the Asian family!
